Dr. N.G. Berrill received his doctorate
in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University. He completed his internship at Sheppard Pratt Hospital. He received post-doctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology at Georgetown University Medical School/National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Berrill has worked in forensics for
over 20 years and specializes in criminal and family court work
which includes evaluations of violent individuals, sex offenders,
traumatic brain injury cases, custody matters and family violence.
He is on faculty at John Jay College of
Criminal Justice, City University of New York, where he teaches
graduate courses in forensic psychology and supervises interns
at our Brooklyn office.
Dr. Berrill has consulted on numerous
high-profile criminal and custody matters throughout the country
and has lectured at various Universities and Corporations on
issues related to Family Violence, Sex Offenses, Antisocial
Behavior, the psychological impact of divorce on children as
well as violence in the workplace.
He appears regularly on local and national
news programs including NBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and
CourtTV to discuss issues related to violent crime, sex
offenses and family violence.
